Kitting for Assets
AMCAP provides a unique comprehensive kitting service capability that combines multiple products and brands for any auto or machinery asset to deliver the most cost effective solution for our customer’s order requirements.
With a long established history in the mining industry creating site specific bespoke asset maintenance kits, AMCAP’s kitting capability leverages our extensive supply network to deliver immediate and significant financial benefits and process efficiencies to our 3PL customers.
AMCAP offers a fully automated procurement process for all company auto and heavy machinery assets. AMCAP’s comprehensive asset manager service allows complete controlled self-management of inventory kitting. We will also work with customers to ensure the composition of each kit precisely matches specific servicing requirements.
AMCAP undertakes kitting for a wide variety of assets including generators, heaving machinery, vehicles, truckers and trailers. Importantly, kits are not limited to any particular brand or manufacturer.
A selection of service kits:
|Graders||Paving and Compacting|
|Lifting and Material Handling||Trucks and Hauling|
With local storage capability at AMCAP’s warehouse facilities based in Western Australia, all kits will be tracked and dispatched in accordance with our stringent quality assurance and streamlined logistics process to ensure delivery in full on time.
We supply parts for: Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, Hitachi, Scania, Kenworth, Volvo, Komatsu and more.
We stock a large range of aftermarket and OEM spare parts including: Donaldson, Fleetguard, Ryco, ACDelco, Wabco and more.
Complex kitting capabilities include assets with many individual components that require outsourcing and management. For example, a rotable piece of equipment uses a kit containing around 20 parts including a compressor, switches and brackets, hoses, a condenser and oil.
We provide exchange options on failed units where AMCAP will repair and offer to future customers, purchase a complete new unit or refurbish.
To refurbish an asset, AMCAP will review the list of possible new parts in the kit to determine requirements for replacement. Any parts not required will be reflected in a price reduction with all components managed using AMCAP’s asset register. Importantly, the asset register allows for an escalated hierarchical approval process to address variations to the BOM.
