AMCAP attends Capricorn Tradeshow
The annual Capricorn Gala Dinner and Tradeshow was recently held at the Crown in Perth and attended by more than 1000 Capricorn members and supported by 55 preferred suppliers who exhibited as part of the tradeshow. AMCAP was pleased to attend and exhibit at the event showcasing Skipper Transport Parts, Holden, Ford, Subaru WA Parts and our Coatings division.
On the night, Frank O’Connor was inducted into the Capricorn Hall of Fame, which recognises Capricorn members with outstanding vision, work ethic, and integrity who have made a positive and measurable impact driving the ongoing development of Capricorn’s business and the broader automotive repair and maintenance industry.
Capricorn’s WA Director, Julie Wadley, announced a record breaking $1.54 billion dollars in member purchases from preferred suppliers in the past financial year. These purchases came from Capricorn’s membership base of automotive professionals, which included 1,789 new members who have joined in the last year.
In addition, another four preferred suppliers joined the “Million Dollar Club” who, for the first time, have sold more than $1m of goods or services to Capricorn members in the past financial year. The Million Dollar Club is now made up of more than 270 preferred suppliers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
