1115 New Trees in the Ground!
Our team of volunteers joined forces with South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL) for a tree‑planting effort that delivered both immediate impact and long‑term promise. Across the morning, our volunteers worked steadily to get 1,115 new seedlings into the soil, each one a small but significant investment in healthier waterways, stronger local ecosystems, and the biodiversity that future generations will depend on.
The conditions weren’t exactly gentle. A crisp June chill settled over the site, the kind that makes you grateful for layers and gloves. But our volunteers showed up with trademark enthusiasm, muddy boots, and a shared determination to make a difference.
Thanks to their efforts, this patch of land now holds more than a thousand young trees ready to take root, grow, and shape the landscape for years to come. It’s a reminder that meaningful environmental change doesn’t happen all at once, it happens seedling by seedling, community by community. Together with SERCUL and our incredible volunteers, we’re growing something that lasts.
